There have been a few times lately when someone has started to tell me about a stroke of happy luck or fun, and then stopped. I understand that. But really and truly I have a vampiric desire to hear that stuff. It renews me when I hear good news, large or small, coming from someone I like. So, if you had a particularly delicious dinner, a romantic date, a great shopping deal, an adorable kid moment, anything, anything… bring it!

The moment I put a lobster sushi roll with spicy mayo into my mouth, I am in complete and utter heaven. I have to close my eyes and chew ever so slowly. Bliss.

If you’re ever in NYC you’ll have to come by Cafe 57 in the Hearst building. Most days I get ocean don for lunch — sushi rice with crab, lobster and salmon sashimi garnished with seaweed, sprouts, pickled ginger, and spicy mayonnaise. I keel over from the deliciousness.

It’s not a stroke of good luck, but it’s funny… my last post was about how my adventures with a Diva cup and a stovetop.

I love it. I’ve definitely missed some good posts. Maybe this weekend I will have to go back and see if anything else funny got past me.

Jon gave me flowers and a pair of ruby earrings (that match the necklace he gave me for Christmas) for Valentines day, but Donovan keeps claiming the flowers are from him. If you ask him if he drove to Costco, picked out the flowers, and brought them home to Mama all by himself, he smiles hugely and nods yes.

Scout and I have both come through stomach virus from hell with flying colors and are feeling on the mend.
RocketBoy has declared that he wants to be an actor (or a director) in the movies – today he took the video camera, gave me lines, and then filmed me talking about the various planets. He calls his movie “Way Out In the Planets.”
Right now, he’s making up a planet song called “Spinning Around So Fast.”

I’m so glad you’re both better. I’m just waiting to come down with what Alden is packing. I’ve kissed him right on the mouth about a million times just today.
You should put “Way Out In the Planets” on YouTube so we can all enjoy.

Not available in any stores!
I may make a full posting of this, but the guys in my dressing room have come up with an exciting new product for men. When I told Bart about it, he said it would be a perfect complement to a men’s grooming product he’s conceived. Not to give too much away, but the items are called the ‘Manpon’ and the ‘Pootex,’ respectively. Since we can’t imagine any self-respecting man going through line at the grocery with either product, we’ll probably only market them online, or in the backs of high-gloss men’s magazines.
