Strike Three

So it looks like this month is a bust as well. It doesn’t mean we stop trying, but it does mean I need to call the doctor this week. I really have no idea what she’ll say, but I suspect she’ll want to do some tests.

In the meantime, I’m going to do some serious adoption research. I’ve always said it would be okay by me to adopt but now that I’m looking at it seriously I feel exhausted by the process before it has even begun.

I wish someone would just leave a baby in a basket on our doorstep.

  1. I predict she’ll say “Three months? Keep trying. And try not to be so acidic.”

    • I should clarify… We’ve been trying for just about a year. When I saw her in March she said, “Take three more months to try and then call me if you have no luck.”
But we’ll definitely keep trying, because it’s fun.

      • Ah, I probably knew that.
My coworker (who has two adopted kids) says the best way to get pregnant is to start the adoption process. You may have to actually acquire the child before the sperm and egg realize you’re not bluffing, though. But hey– two kids! Score!
