Isn’t it marvelous when someone puts her finger right on something that’s been floating around in your brain but refusing to land? Yes.
Alden likes for me to hold him. He likes to explore my face, stick his fingers in my mouth, eat my food, chew on my nose, nurse, nurse, nurse. When I get in bed he automatically turns into me and starts groping for a cuddle. And I love it. But man, when he is sleeping in the other room or out running errands with Damon — it’s heaven to be captain of my own ship.
True story: This post took me almost an hour to complete because I had to stop in the middle and go give Alden a cuddle/nurse after Zoe meowed in his face and woke him up.

There are days when I want to scream “STOP TOUCHING ME” and then P gets home and wants to give me hugs. I like hugs. I like kisses. But when I have been under a puppy pile all day long, sometimes I like to sit on the sofa BY MYSELF for a few minutes.
As I type this, Ez is nursing and slapping at my typing arm, and Anya is pressed against my leg.
