Speaking It Into Existence

I lost my beloved Dad this week. I avoid telling people as each time it cements the reality. This is me trying to accept, to acknowledge the truth.

  3. I am so very sorry for the loss of your father. My prayers and love are with you.
I lost my mother 2 years ago, and it still hits me like a ton of bricks from time to time.

  17. Really sad to hear this. Only met him once but to hear you talk about him, he seemed like a really decent man and there’s precious few of those in the world. Luckily he taught you to value that and in addition to being a decent person in your own right you married a really decent man and are raising two of your own. Basically, your Dad increased his effect on the world at least 3-fold. Tell your boys all about him. Everytime you hus them, you’re hugging him.
